We didn’t start Vedash Naturals to build a business.

We started it to solve a problem.

Like many families, we struggled to find skincare that was truly gentle — products claimed to be “natural”, yet were filled with chemicals, artificial fragrances, and harsh ingredients that irritated sensitive skin.

So we went back to what Indian homes have trusted for generations — Ayurveda, herbs, oils, and simple handmade remedies.

What began as small batches made at home for family and friends slowly turned into Vedash Naturals.

The Founder

Vedash Naturals was founded by Pratima Deshpande, a firm believer in traditional skincare and holistic wellness.

Her journey began at home — not in a factory or a laboratory, but in her own kitchen. While searching for safe and gentle skincare for her family, she realized that many products labeled “natural” still contained harsh chemicals and artificial fragrances that irritated sensitive skin.

She turned back to the remedies she grew up with — herbs, oils, clays, and time-tested Ayurvedic practices passed down through generations.

What started as small handmade batches for family and friends soon became Vedash Naturals.

Every product is still created with the same intention:
something she would feel completely comfortable using on her own family.

The Meaning Behind Our Name

The name Vedash is deeply personal to us.

It is inspired by three sacred energies that represent balance, protection, and guidance in our lives — Venkatesh, Dattatreya, and Shiv.

Each name carries a meaning we connect with our work:
Venkatesh represents care and preservation, Dattatreya symbolizes wisdom and harmony with nature, and Shiv reflects purity and transformation.

When we began creating our products, we wanted the brand to stand for something beyond skincare. We wanted it to carry intention, respect for nature, and gratitude.

Vedash Naturals was therefore named as a reminder that what we create is not only for beauty, but for well-being.

Every product is made with sincerity, patience, and responsibility — as if we were making it for our own family.
